Hi Additional Maths students
These are complete revision notes for Cambridge IGCSE Additional Mathematics 0606, free and open to anyone. Every topic in the syllabus has its own page: what you need to be able to do, the mathematics explained, diagrams, a fully worked exam-style example, and practice questions with worked answers.
Additional Maths assumes you already know IGCSE Mathematics well — surds, indices and basic algebra are never tested on their own, but you need them in almost every question. Half your marks come from a paper where calculators are not allowed, so if you only read one page first, make it Start here.
The practice questions are written in the style of the current papers, but they are my own — for the real thing, work through past papers from your school as well. Happy revising. — Mr. Suta

📚The 14 topics
Every topic can appear on either paper. They are grouped here for revision, in the syllabus’s own numbering.
Algebra and functions
Functions and their inverses · quadratics and the discriminant · the factor and remainder theorems · modulus equations and cubic inequalities · simultaneous equations · logarithms and exponentials
Coordinate geometry and trigonometry
Straight lines and linearising data · circles, tangents and common chords · radians, arcs and sectors · the six trigonometric functions, their graphs, equations and identities
Counting, series and vectors
Permutations and combinations · the binomial theorem, arithmetic and geometric progressions · vectors, velocities and collisions
Calculus
Syllabus topic 14 is the largest in the course, so it is split across three pages: differentiation and its applications, integration and areas, and kinematics. No calculus formulas are given in the exam.
📜A note on past papers
Every practice question on these pages was written for this site, in the style of the current papers — none is copied from a Cambridge paper. Real past papers are still the best final preparation: ask your school, or ask me, for properly licensed copies. The unofficial archives that re-host Cambridge papers without permission change domain constantly, and I do not link to them.
Because the syllabus content has not changed between the 2025–2027 and 2028–2030 versions, papers from 2025 onwards all test exactly what these notes cover.
